Town Hall Times

I’m currently working towards booking Sheffield Town hall for my wedding ceremony. It’s a beautiful listed building, with a fabulous sweeping staircase for photos. Getting married at the register office is so much cheaper than getting married in another venue, with the costs of venue hire and then the cost of the registrar coming out to you. Getting married in church is not an option, as I am not a religious person and it is important to mean the vows that I make. I don’t think I could find a nicer venue than Sheffield Town Hall either! The rooms and building look lovely. Some register offices can be quite soulless and utilitarian, so we are very lucky to have this gem on our doorstep. To save guests from having to navigate the city centre, especially non-Sheffielders, we are arranging transport for the day in the form of a bus or coach, which we have yet to book. In fact, the transport is probably going to be one of the biggest costs for the day, and so we are struggling to find something appropriate on our shoestring budget. Plenty of time for that though.

Here's a photo of the inside of Sheffield Town Hall.
